Privacy Policy
Last updated Nov 8, 2026
HomesUSA.com, Inc. (“HomesUSA.com,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through homesusa.com and the other websites, forms and services we operate that link to this policy (together, the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Scope. This policy covers the Site, including QuickFinder and our newsroom. Builder clients’ use of the SpecDeck® platform is also governed by their service agreement with us; where that agreement says something different about the client’s data, the agreement controls.
In short: we collect the business contact details you give us when you ask for a demo, a report or information; we use standard analytics to understand how the Site is used; we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on the Site we collect what you enter, which may include your name, work email address, phone number, company, title, the markets you build in, approximate homes closed per year, media outlet, how you heard about us, and anything you write in a message. If you contact us by phone, email or through a scheduling link, we keep the communication and your contact details. If you subscribe to news or reports, we keep your email address and your preferences.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect technical information when you visit, including your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type and settings, device type, operating system, language, referring page, the pages you view, the links you click and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through server logs, cookies and the analytics and security tools described in Section 3.
Information from other sources. We may receive business contact information from clients who refer you, from industry events and publications, from publicly available sources such as company websites and LinkedIn, and from the multiple listing services and public records we use to operate our brokerage.
We do not collect payment card information through the Site, and the Site has no user accounts.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your request: schedule a demonstration, prepare a price discrepancy report, send you the Texas Index, or answer a media or general inquiry;
- communicate with you about our services, including follow-up on a request you made and, where permitted, information about products, reports and events we think will interest you — you can opt out of marketing email at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us;
- operate, secure and improve the Site, including understanding which pages and content are useful, diagnosing problems and preventing spam, fraud and abuse;
- operate our real estate brokerage and comply with MLS rules, real estate licensing law and other legal obligations;
- enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights, property and safety and those of others; and
- for any other purpose we describe when we collect the information or with your consent.
We do not use the Site to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Cookies, analytics and security tools
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and usage. Google sets cookies (such as _ga) that assign a random identifier to your browser and collects the technical information described in Section 1 on our behalf. Google Analytics is configured to not share this data with Google’s advertising products. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cloudflare. Our Site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses and request data to provide security and performance, and our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile evaluates browser characteristics and may set a cookie for that purpose; it does not track you across other sites. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Site preferences. The Site stores your light or dark display preference in your browser’s local storage. It contains no personal information.
Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the Site from working, but it may prevent your display preference from being remembered. Because we do not use the Site for targeted advertising or sell personal information, we do not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals; those signals do not change what we collect.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that process it for us and on our instructions, including Microsoft (website hosting on Azure, email and business applications), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), Google (analytics), Calendly (demo scheduling) and the customer relationship and email tools we use to manage inquiries. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Affiliates under common ownership with HomesUSA.com, for the purposes described in this policy.
- Professional advisers such as our lawyers, accountants and insurers when needed.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, regulation, legal process or a governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property or safety of HomesUSA.com, our clients or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the recipient will be bound by this policy for the information transferred.
- With your direction or consent, for example when you ask us to refer you to a builder or another service provider.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for targeted advertising.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as we have an ongoing relationship or a legitimate business need, generally up to three years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by real estate licensing, MLS, tax or other law or needed to resolve a dispute. Google Analytics retains user-level data for up to 14 months. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
6. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) on every page of the Site, access controls and hosting with providers that maintain independent security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send confidential information through the Site’s forms.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete personal information we collected from you;
- opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do any of these); and
- appeal a decision we make on your request.
Residents of Texas (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act), Florida and other states with consumer privacy laws may exercise these rights by contacting us as described in Section 11. We will verify your request using the contact details we have for you, respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days), and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if we deny the appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
Marketing email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a request you made or about an existing business relationship.
8. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not direct any part of the Site to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Visitors outside the United States
HomesUSA.com operates in the United States and the Site is hosted there. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site or, where we have your email address and the change significantly affects you, email you before the change takes effect.
